    This lovely woman was carved from juniper tree root in 2007 by Harry Benally and purchased at
    the
    Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair & Market in Phoenix, AZ in 2007
    .
    It is signed and dated in the bottom.
    The carving is detailed and lovely.  It is in excellent condition.
    Harry is a self-taught Navajo Artist born in Shiprock, New Mexico in 1951 on the Navajo reservation. He is a member of the Salt (Ashiihi) clan (mother's side) and born to the Ruins Clan (father’s side).
