This auction is for a Limited Edition sculpture of Eagle Dog of the Yankton Sioux created by nationally recognized miniature sculptor Phil Cuthbert.
This piece was the winner of two recent top awards.  Lifelike Dolls Magazine has named this the Overall Character Sculpture of 2010, and it was award Best Sculpture of Show in Barrington Illinois' prestigious Art in the Barn Show.  It has also been prominently featured in Western Art Collector magazine November 2010.

This figure will have a limited edition of 10 only, will be made specifically to your order (so each piece is actually OOAK), and your satisfaction will be guaranteed. The figure stands about 18" tall, and will be mounted on a natural edge finished hardwood base.  Eagle Dog has genuine deerskin clothing, jasper, turquoise, and silverplated beads, genuine porcupine quilling done in traditional fashion, ermine and mink fur, horse hair, domestic duck feathers, abalone shell, real hairpipe bone beads, and a pipe carved from genuine sacred pipestone quarried at the pipestone quarries of Minnesota.  I try, as much as possible, to maintain the accuracy of clothing and any accessories of the historical figure, simply scaled down.  All beading and quilling is hand done. Approx. one month delivery time on order (based on number of orders, first come, first served).  Perfect for the collector of Native American or Western / Cowboy art.
