Inlaid Buffalo Skull Cheif War Bonnet + Sculpture Native American Catlinite OAK

This is a one of a kind inlaid buffalo skull.   The skull is a real buffalo skull that has been inlaid the same way jewlery is inlaid.   The skull has been totally inlaid with alabaster from right here in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
The red stone is pipestone from my pit at the National Monument and Shrine located in Pipestone, MN.    The black you see is black pipestone is one of the rarest black pipestone in North America that is only found in the Badlands here in South Dakota in a 2 mile stretch of creek.
The cheif has been carved out of a solid piece of pipestone and set in to the skull along with his feather fluffs.   The feathers on the cheif are carved from seperate slabs of pipestone and are set away from the skull to give it that 3-D look.   The feathers are fairlly strong and and the skull has been covered with a polymer but this can be broken if dropped.
The breast plate is a real breast plate and has been made with real hair bone pipes, solid brass beads, glass beads, brass cones, horse hair and a pipestone disc.
The skull is also decorated with real horse hair and hand painted feathers.
The skull is made to be displayed on the stand or you can also take the skull off and place it on a wall or shelf.   The skull on the stand is 65" in height and the bass of the stand is 24".   This is a pretty heavy peice but the skulls is real so if solid and and really can't be damaged very easyly.   The only weak spot on this skull is the pipestone feathers that set away from the skull.
This a one of a kind piece of art and there isn't another one out there in this style.   It is new and with out any damage so I'm selling it as is, what you see is what you get with no returns.   For that reason the skull will be shipped with free shipping and packed and sent by a shipping store with full insurance for the price you pay.
