MENS VTG ANTIQUE 20s 30s WIDE BRIM STRAW BOATER SKIMMER BARBERSHOP HAT 7 3/8

Description

An Original Late Edwardian to mid teens, mens straw boater hat also known as a skimmer. Made by BARBIZONIA. A 2 1/4" wide black grosgrain band; the brim is 2" wide, the crown is 3" high and 8 3/4" oval diameter. The tan leather sweatband is in intact and tight against the straw, it is cracked. The straw is very clean, very sturdy,and very stiff. The is a very small push 1/4" dent in the back of the crown. Size is 7 3/8, with it being 23 1/8" around. There is writing inside on the band because it has been part of our inventory. A great hat that has survived all these years!! Please ask questions before bidding or making an offer.
