Country of Origin: Ghana
Palm Kernel oil is harvested from the kernels of the palm.
Palm Kernel Oil is white, odorless and solid at room temperature.
Has similar properties as coconut oil and can be used in place of coconut oil.  Has a higher melting point (80 - 82 degrees).
Also requires less lye than coconut oil without sacrificing hardness and lather.
One of the most common oils used in soap making as it is high in lauric acid which makes a very hard bar of soap with high lather.
Can speed up trace time in cold process soap making by pulling other oils into soponification more quickly.
Also adds moisturizing properties to skin care products when used in moderation.
