    Bartlett and Co., a family owned business has been in operation in Kansas City for over a hundred years. Paul Bartlett Sr. founded the company in 1907. His son Paul Bartlett Jr., who graduated from Yale, turned the company into one of the largest grain merchandising and storage companies in the United States. Bartlett Jr. built the River-Rail elevator in the Fairfax district, that is advertised on this humble rain gauge.
    The rain gauge has the original glass tube. The gauge is about 4 1/2" wide and about 4 1/2" high.
