Vintage~Advertising Rain Gauge~Recorder~First Llano Bank (Texas)~Rustic~1960's~A truly rare and wonderful find in a family member's garage office. Yes, it is rusty, aged, used, loved, and the glass tube is broken off at the bottom section. (see photos). To the left of the tube are numbers in inches for measuring the rain while in glass tube. The round metal recorder turns well, and part of it as seen in the picture, the red paint faded between the numbers 90 and 20. Features First Llano Bank (Texas), phone number, and other information which is difficult to decipher. From top of rain gauge to bottom of bracket measures approx. 10.25". 6 5/8" wide, and the glass tube was 6.0" tall. It was mounted on a fence post for many, many years. The tube broke when the fence post fell. A very nice addition to one's collection, decor for farm/ranch house, etc. I would keep it, but I have to downsize at this time.
